Common Roots is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community organization connecting farmers, educators, youth, families, and the wider community in building a sustainable future through our education and service programs. 

Weddings at Common Roots support our mission to provide food insecure families nourishing foods, and to teach children land stewardship and sustainability. You'll enjoy a true farm-to-table experience at our homestead and a local taste of Vermont. Our delicious catering is inspired by collaboration between our chef and farmers. 

The Historic Wheeler Homestead offers expansive views of the majestic Green Mountains, along with a world-class outdoor kitchen and wood-fired clay oven. We can accommodate parties of 30-60, orchestrated by our Executive Chef Anthony Jones, or events of 60 - 250 with any of our carefully selected catering partners.
