In Their Own Words:

Nicole, the talent behind The Painted Tulip, is renowned for her breathtaking and elegantly styled floral designs for weddings and events. She has built a stellar reputation in the field of floral design, drawing inspiration from her passion for nature and the arts. Nicole refers to her garden and floral creations as ‘painting with flowers’, a testament to her artistic approach!

Every flower selected by Nicole for her arrangements is chosen with care, sourced either from her gardens or from reputable, high-quality suppliers across America. She cultivates an extensive variety of flowers on her farm, with most plants beginning their journey as seeds in her greenhouse. Nicole is committed to using solely organic methods in her gardening practices. She shares, “I cultivate the plants and wildlife that bring me joy and enhance the beauty of my decorative gardens or dining table.”

Ensuring accessibility for every budget is a priority for us. Alongside our comprehensive design and setup services, we also offer both À la carte selections and the option to purchase DIY Bulk Flowers directly from our studio.

Favorite Moment During a Wedding: I know this is a bit bias… when I present the couple their bouquets and boutonnières. A close second: seeing the couple’s joy and excitement when they walk up the aisle, just married!

Favorite Vermont Activity: Walking to beautiful locations like Moss Glen Falls. (located in Granville, VT) I love waterfalls.

We hired Nicole from The Painted Tulip for our September 2023 wedding and could not have been happier! She was easy to communicate with and tailored our flower order to exactly what we wanted. We ordered bulk flowers (we made table centerpieces ourselves), a bridal bouquet, two large bouquets for the wine barrels at our wedding, and flower pieces to hang on an arbor. We picked up the flowers the day prior to the wedding and set up everything ourselves to save a bit of money. The flowers were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and exactly how I imagined. My sister and mom picked up the flowers the day prior to the wedding and had a great time with that; Nicole apparently helped them pack the car so that the flowers stayed beautiful and fresh despite the drive to the venue.
