We loved our Sugarbush wedding!
We loved our Sugarbush wedding! The pre-planning support was great and the day-of support from Liz & Molly were amazing. If you are looking for a venue where your guests can stay (in very nice rooms) and all events to be in walking distance – this is the place! The food was really great, too! The only not so great things about working with Sugarbush is that it is very corporate and policy heavy. There is little room for concessions or negotiations when contracting/planning. Overall we had a fantastic day with all of the staff and would highly recommend this venue for any couples looking to get married in VT!
I highly recommend hosting your wedding at Sugarbush! The planning process was clearly communicated and smooth from the early stages right up until day of decisions. Abby specifically was so helpful with all of the planning and listening to our ideas and incorporating our wishes into the weekend. But the entire team at Sugarbush is just fantastic! Our entire wedding weekend, from arrival to leaving (with tears!) was completely magical. We had a day of ceremony change due to weather, but the team was so great about figuring out the changes, setting up the new location, and communicating with guests. They even arranged for my husband and I to take a lift ride to get the photos we were really hoping for! Speaking of guests, almost a year later and our guests are still raving about our wedding. The food is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and helpful, the venue is so beautiful. We have heard all these compliments and more. We were fortunate to spend the entire weekend at the Claybrook along with most of our guests, which we can’t recommend enough. Again, our guests have had nothing but wonderful things to say about their stays as well. My husband and I are returning for our anniversary this summer because we just loved it so much. Book your wedding at Sugarbush, you wont regret it!!
couldn’t have imagined a more magical place
We couldn’t have imagined a more magical place to have our October 2021 wedding than at Sugarbush Resort! It checked all of our boxes and once we visited – we knew nowhere else could compare. All of our guests were able to stay on site, making it a whole weekend event! Our coordinator, Katie, and her team went above and beyond to help make the planning process easy (we lived in Boston at the time), and ensured everything went as planned the entire weekend. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect & we couldn’t have done it without Katie! We would recommend Sugarbush to anybody looking for a dream Vermont wedding…and would get married there all over again (x10) if we could ♥️
Sugarbush is your ultimate destination for a wedding weekend. Liz, our coordinator, made planning a wedding from Texas a breeze. From our initial video call, to check lists, and worksheets, she was able to understand our vision and execute it flawlessly. The ability to host all of our friends and family from out of state at one place, all weekend, in such beautiful accommodations was a dream. Our guests also raved about the food!! All of the staff at Sugarbush – from the catering team to the hotel reception – were extremely friendly, flexible, and accommodating all weekend. We had such a stress free weekend and were able to have a blast everyday.
Where to begin?! We got married at Sugarbush last weekend and are still talking about what an incredible experience we had. The venue speaks for itself — it’s gorgeous, everything is on-site, and there are tons of great things for guests to do nearby. The food was fantastic (we did a plated dinner with vegetable ravioli, beef with mushroom sauce, and mustard maple chicken as our options and have heard rave reviews from our guests about all of them). Amanda was our coordinator and was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and has such a calming presence which helped so much during such a chaotic day! Multiple people from our families and wedding party were commenting on how great she is and we couldn’t agree more. I could truly go on for days about Sugarbush and how it was everything we dreamed of for our wedding day. Can’t recommend them enough!
Sugarbush is a great place to get married. We love Vermont and loved having our first look on the mountain. What’s great about Sugarbush is they have different wedding packages to accommodate your day. We only had 30 guests and loved that we didn’t have to stress about all the vendors. They have a restaurant, the flowers and cake were included in the package took. It was very easy to plan our big day. The food was amazing! All my guests can’t stop talking about how great everything was from the food to the hotel! Our wedding coordinator Alyssa was amazing! She was there every step of the way and on our wedding day she was a huge help and everything went stress free and perfect with her! We would 100% recommend sugarbush for your big day. We were all so impressed!
Sugarbush was our dream wedding venue from the start… I don’t even know where to begin! – Molly and Amanda are super stars! – Helpful, informative, and responsive from the start of communications, organizing tasting(s), staying on top of due dates, etc. – An incredibly fun welcome party with excellent apps and drinks (shotski included) the night before at rumbles – Sugarbush helped me coordinate wedding morning yoga with an instructor from the SB health club – 25 ish people came and it was so wonderful – The mountain top meadow ceremony is epic, so worth it. Our guests were truly thrilled to be riding the chairlift to the ceremony and the flow and organization of it all went so smoothly. – they had apps and drinks ready for my spouse and I when we got down from the chair lift so we could eat a bit before all the mingling – such a nice touch – the apps were delicious!! the food was awesome – we did veg ravioli, beef/filet mignon, and crabcakes. Didn’t love the chicken options at our tasting but fell in love with the crabcakes – don’t overlook them! – Sugarbush team – Molly and Amanda and the bartenders, servers, chairlift operators, were all so friendly, organized, kept things moving! – We did bring in our own vendor/equipment for: lighting, (so we could turn off main overheads and have really specific lighting, especially in summer time) sound (it is a huge room to fill, you may want to consider extra sound system) , a bigger bar that was closer to the tables/dance floor, and additional bar/tables for the cocktail hour. Brought some of our own decor for walls too. We also worked with Sugarbush to obtain some other wines we wanted to serve beyond their standard list and they were happy to help us with this. – a huuuge plus about Sugarbush is that you can party until midnight!! We looked at many places in the MRV and most had you shutting down at 9 or 9:30, maybe 10 or moving to an afterparty and or turning down music. Love that we weren’t limitted by this at Sugarbush – We had a lovely buffet brunch for our guests on Sunday at Rumbles – huge hit and the food was great! – cannot beat being able to have everyone or everyone who wanted to stay at Claybrook and other mountain-walkable condo locations. Our guests loved being in the area for the weekend and all the Sugarbush and Warren and Waitsfield have to offer! 100% recommend getting married at Sugarbush!
10/10 would do it again! Sugarbush is our home away from home all winter long. Naturally, we decided to host our wedding at our favorite mountain without any hesitation! From the moment we inquired, Molly was extremely friendly, professional, responsive, and informative. Believe it or not, we booked Sugarbush as our wedding venue before we were engaged (really took a leap of faith, to say the least). Molly guided us every step of the way with grace and patience. Alyssa became our coordinator later in the process, and the transition was seamless. Alyssa jumped right in! She took initiative, accommodated all our requests (big or small – within reason, of course!), and made the planning process effortless. Alyssa was clear and consistent in her communication and ensured no detail was overlooked. The best decision I made was also having her as the day of coordinator! We got married on October 15, 2022. Our rehearsal dinner and welcome party took place at our favorite après ski spot, Castle Rock Pub. We had a mountain top ceremony at the top of the Gate House chairlift and our cocktail hour/reception was at the Gate House Lodge. We ended our big day at Castle Rock for an after-party! We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful day (and yes, the weather/foliage was picture perfect)! From Molly & Alyssa, the hotel staff, kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders (shout out to John and Laurie) the Sugarbush team took exceptional care of us! Needless to say, everything went off without a hitch and exceeded our expectations and was SO much fun! We are very grateful for the entire Sugarbush team for making our dream wedding a reality. If you’re looking for a Vermont venue with a beautiful property, incredible views, competent and thoughtful staff members, and an unforgettable experience – Sugarbush is the place for you!
I would highly recommend choosing Sugarbush for your wedding venue! My husband and I are from the area, however much of our family is not and Sugarbush is a great destination for those visiting Vermont. Being able to host an entire wedding weekend on the resort allowed us to relax and be able to spend time with many of our friends and family members, which we would likely not have been able to do had we chosen a venue that was not as accommodating or did not provide as many options for lodging, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, etc. We had an amazing experience with Molly as our wedding coordinator! She was timely, organized, knowledgeable, accommodating, and had a huge part in making sure our entire weekend was stress free. She was in touch with us months before the wedding to start the planning process, she coordinated with all of our vendors for the day of so that we didn’t have to, and she made sure that everything on our wedding day went perfectly and looked beautiful! The staff members at Claybrook as well as the other resort condos were friendly and made sure we felt more than welcome. The service during our welcome party at Rumbles and at our reception was wonderful! Everyone was very pleasant and made sure our guests were having a great time and had everything they needed. And on top of all of that the food was great!! Sugarbush is a great venue and I don’t believe anyone who chooses this for their wedding will leave disappointed.
