Favorite Moment During a Wedding: The first look (if there is one!) The couple’s anticipation and excitement is so palpable. Any time the couple is crying happy tears is the best.
Favorite Vermont Activity: Vermont rivers have my heart! If I have any free time, I will probably be swimming, paddle boarding, or tubing down a river.

We’d hire her again and again!
Melissa was everything we could have hoped for in a photographer and more. Her friendly and outgoing nature, combined with her keen eye for what we needed—even when we didn’t know ourselves—made her truly exceptional. Her familiarity with the venue and her insightful suggestions were incredibly helpful. She was fantastic with our dogs and seemed genuinely delighted to be part of our celebration. Melissa made the entire experience smooth and manageable by breaking up the photo sessions so they didn’t feel overwhelming. The photos she captured were beyond our wildest dreams. We would have been more than happy to pay the full price just for the sneak peek images she sent us. We can’t rave enough about Melissa—if we were closer to Vermont, we’d definitely enlist her for family portraits in the future. She’s upfront, friendly, affordable, and exceptionally skilled.
