We carry Vermont’s largest selection of in-stock suits at price points for every budget. Whether you’re looking for something classic, modern, or somewhere in between, we’ll help you find the right fit and style.
Suit & Tuxedo Rentals
The best option for out-of-town groomsmen! Your groomsmen can get measured at home, send us their measurements, and we’ll tailor their suits or tuxedos right here in Vermont, close to the ceremony site. That means no last-minute issues or surprises on the big day. Our rental program offers Vermont’s most comprehensive selection of styles and fits, ensuring everyone in your wedding party looks their best.
And yes, it’s perfectly fine to mix and match. Many grooms choose to go custom, while their groomsmen prefer to rent or select ready-made suits. We’ll help you coordinate the look so everyone feels confident and cohesive, no matter which option they choose.
We also offer a curated selection of unique and heritage-quality groomsmen gifts, rehearsal dinner outfits, premium cigars, and on-site tailoring, allowing us to create the perfect fit and finish for every member of your party.

Suit and tuxedo rentals at McNeil & Reedy start at $149. To purchase a ready-made suit or tuxedo, prices start at $399. Custom, made-to-measure suits start at $1,500. If you plan to wear your suit more than once, purchasing is often the most economical choice. Shoes and certain accessories are available for an additional charge, and alteration services are offered on-site.

The best selection in Vermont
Earlier this year, I bought a suit from McNeil & Reedy for my wedding. They knew that I drove down from Burlington and wanted to save me a trip back, so they fitted me and made alterations while I grabbed lunch in town. I’ve never owned a more comfortable suit. I went back yesterday and bought a couple more. Exceptional service and the best selection in Vermont. Highly recommend!
High quality and such a great experience!
Life changing experience here. I originally went to Suitsupply to get a suit for my wedding, and absolutely hated it and their process. Walked into McNeil and Reedy and not only is everyone significantly nicer and more welcoming, their suits off the rack fit me better than the “made to measure” Suitsupply suit. I ended up going custom because I wanted a different fabric, but again, my suit turned out great, it fit well, it feels like actual high quality, and it was so, so easy, vastly different than Suitsupply. McNeil and Reedy feels like a store where you know that the people you’re talking to know men’s fashion, without feeling like you walked into a cloud of cologne and techno music to talk to someone towing the line of the big company. The store, the atmosphere, the people, the fits, the options, all vastly superior. If I hadn’t come here, I would’ve dreaded getting a new suit for the rest of my life. Now, I know the only place I want to go, and I’ll be excited when it happens.
A Suit for Every Size
Jim and John were simply fantastic to work with! Choosing the men’s attire was one of our last items on the wedding planning list for our 1/22/22 wedding and by the T-minus 3-month countdown, the “decision fatigue” had set in. Jim and John took the guesswork out of putting together a coordinated and classically stylish look for my groom, his 4 groomsmen, and both of our fathers. The whole process was a breeze, from selecting and customizing the rental items, right down to the rental pick-up and return process. Everyone’s suits and accessories were immaculate and photographed great. Sizing was also not an issue, which is to say that the 6’9″, 380 lb, size 16 shoe, best man got exactly what he needed and felt great. My groom even snagged a pair of pants and a dress shirt to wear for the rehearsal dinner.
