Colette Kulig Photography
Colette is a Vermont wedding photographer who captures gorgeous images and crafts bespoke albums which couples treasure for years to come. Her style is a mix of advertising and portraiture, creating a modern collection, and her warm personality puts couples at ease.
In Their Own Words:
For Colette Kulig, photography began as a teenage obsession, long before she ever stepped behind a professional camera. She spent her babysitting money on film and a secondhand camera, a passion that eventually led her to art school in New York City and photography school in Boston.
With a background in portraiture and advertising, Colette’s wedding work beautifully balances opposites: quiet and bold, cinematic yet intimate, refined while still completely real. She leans into the space between polished and unfiltered, creating expressive, enduring images that feel both modern and timeless.
Colette approaches each wedding with a blend of classic portraiture, editorial influence, and documentary instincts. She offers gentle guidance when needed, but mostly allows couples to be fully themselves, capturing genuine emotion, elegant detail, and those fleeting in-between moments that become family gems.
As a Vermont wedding photographer, she knows she has a front-row seat to some of a couple’s most meaningful moments, and that privilege is never lost on her. Her goal is simple: to tell your story with honesty, artistry, and heart so it can be cherished for generations.

Love Notes
We are so grateful!
Colette recently photographed our wedding and perfectly captured all of the joy, light, and love of our day. When we pitched our slightly non-traditional idea (35 people for a ceremony in our tiny living room), she met us with so much enthusiasm and excitement that we knew we were in good hands. Colette made us feel comfortable (and look great!) when posing for portraits even in below freezing temperatures, organized large group shots with ease, and blended into the bustle of the day like one of our friends. We are so grateful to have so many of Colette’s beautiful photos of the big and small moments to share, revisit, and treasure.
we'll remember it for decades to come
Working with Colette was a dream! We booked Colette for our July 2024 wedding as well as for engagement pictures in October 2023. The entire time we worked with Colette, from planning our engagement shoot to our final goodbyes on our wedding day, she brought the most positive and contagious energy. When we wanted to wander around the woods and fields where we got engaged cross-country skiing, she was all over it and completely enthusiastic. When it was pouring down rain until 2 minutes before our first look, she was effortlessly cool and able to make the most perfect changes on the fly. Colette’s work speaks for itself – her pictures are absolute art and gems that we will treasure forever. However, the true joy is working with Colette herself. Both times, it felt less like we were being posed by a stranger and more like we were hanging out with an old friend who happened to be carrying a camera and capturing all of the most interesting and beautiful details of what was happening. Our wedding was one of the absolute best days of our lives, surrounded by friends and family, just having so much fun. Colette played a huge role in how that day felt and how we’ll remember it for decades to come. I could not recommend her enough. If you have the chance, book her!
