We used Blooming Photo Company for our wedding and I’ll be forever grateful. Not only are the owners among the two most genuine humans you’ll ever meet, they made us so comfortable in front of the camera (which was a huge anxiety prior). We could not recommend them enough!

I cannot sing my praises enough about Kristin and Carly at Blooming Photo Company. They captured our wedding day with the utmost professionalism, sincerity, and supportive joy. Their photos truly capture the loving energy and happiness of the day, and I was smiling from ear to ear reliving the moments and sharing them with friends and family. It was such an honor and a treat to work with them both, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again!

If it weren’t for Kristin and Carly, my Husband and I wouldn’t have had any photos of our wedding day. We ( along with dozens of other couples) had been scammed by our original photographer (Went by many names but to us was known as Stephan Daniel). 20 days before our wedding he ghosted us and we made the decision to try to find someone who would work with our remaining available budget and still meet our needs. We posted on a Vermont weddings facebook group where Carly and Kristin reached out to us. They offered all we could have asked for. They also gave us more than we could have hoped for. We felt safe, cared for and about. They were flexible and attentive. Both my husband and I ( in fact everyone in our families as well) felt like we had known them for years. They blended seamlessly with our wedding day. Looking back on our photos, they captured the true joy in every moment, even the formal ones. They somehow were able to capture our exact feelings without feeling forced in any way. I used to feel that photography only captured a moment, posed and unrealistic. A moment that held no context. But with their photos they captured every joke being told, every drunken dance pose my aunt could strike, every cute but fleeting moments our children experienced. Thank you both for giving us something we thought we would never capture and thank you for sharing it with us.

Carly and Kristin saved our day with their beautiful captured moments! We drove 13 hours to get to our destination and had a lot of work to do in a small amount of time so we were sadly stressed out on our day. But Carly and Kristen gave us a special moment to escape it all and focus on us two and it was so magical!

We were so lucky to find Kristin and Carly when looking for wedding photographers! They were so easy to work with and Kristin did a great job making us relax in front of the camera. Kristin was so fun to have with us on our wedding day. We were having a relaxed small wedding and she just fit right into the day and made everyone feel comfortable. The pictures (both engagement and wedding day) came out amazing!!! Highly recommend Blooming Photo company to anyone getting married in the area, you won’t regret it!

Working with Carly and Kristin was beyond our wildest dreams. My partner and I got married at the courthouse in Manhattan and then threw a commitment celebration in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Carly and Kristin came to both portions of the day and managed to capture everything from the beauty of swapping vows on the courthouse steps, to the sexy thrill of all of our dearest friends dancing the night away in a bar. No better pair of photogs to spend day with as we celebrated our queer femme wedding at a lesbian-owned restaurant. We knew we needed photographers who were going to see the magic of queerness and help us capture it. With humor, candor, patience, and understanding – these two really were such a gift to us. 10/10 recommend.

Kristin and Carly were everything I hoped for in a photography team and so much more! They were professional, well-organized, super friendly, and a blast to hang out with. We got married in October at The Inn at Lareau Farm and Kristin and Carly were one of our first vendors we hired for our big day! What drew us to them was 100% their editing style and how true all of the colors they captured in their photos appeared. Getting married in the fall, this aspect was incredibly important to us! Once I got to know Kristin and Carly a bit more, the aspect of their photography that made me even more excited was their experience with live music photography and their ability to capture great dance photos. Some of our favorite photos of the night are the ones on the dance floor! We didn’t have a videographer so capturing some of the movement of the day was so great! So many of our guests also came up to us afterwards to tell us how nice and fun our photographers were! We would happily recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a photography team!
