Blooming Photo Company

Photographer

Blooming Photo is a body-positive, LGBTQ, and Latina co-owned company providing authentic, emotion-driven engagement, wedding, and elopement photography.

In Their Own Words:

We’re Carly and Kristin, best friends, partners, and creative collaborators.

We met while living in New York City and fell in love over FaceTime, thanks to our mutual appreciation for photography, music, and adventure. In 2021, we moved to Burlington, Vermont for a new and exciting chapter together.

As a team, we see our photo sessions as an opportunity to connect with and empower our clients.

We champion radical body positivity, kindness, and humor to help ensure your experience in front of the camera is a fun and stress-free experience. Our journalistic approach is all about authenticity, candidness, and encouragement. We appreciate the power of a single moment and know your memories are priceless.

Favorite Moment During a Wedding: The sunset photos! We love stealing the couple for a quick walk in the sunset. It gives them a quiet moment away from the crowd and gives us an opportunity to capture the magic that VT skies have to offer as the sun goes down.

Favorite Vermont Activity: CREEMEES and SWIMMING! We love finding a creemee stand after splashing around in a nearby swimming hole.

Dance Floor Request:Kristin always loves a good “Suavemente” by Elvis Crespo moment. And of course, who can say no to dancing when they hear ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”?!

I worked with Blooming Photo Company for my recent wedding, and it was an absolute dream! Kristin was incredibly easy to work with.
She went above and beyond to help scope out the venue and ensure we chose the best areas and lighting to capture the big day. I am thrilled with the stunning photos she took, and we were so comfortable during the whole experience (even my husband who is camera shy). I highly recommend!!
