Read on to learn more about this Vermont wedding venue!

The space: What's the vibe?

Our venue has a very warm, rustic feel with clean, modern touches. With everything onsite, couples love our property because it feels like a large farmhouse where their guests can all relax and celebrate their weekend in all of Vermont's beauty.

The amenities: What's included?

Use of our entire property is included for three days. Guests are able to enjoy our Great Room, two outdoor fire pits, a sprawling deck and lawn (complete with plenty of yard games!), and Game Room (a great space for a Saturday evening after party). There is onsite lodging for close to 100 guests, even a second building with lots of space for the wedding party!

Our venue fee includes a brookside ceremony area with arbor, a cocktail hour setting perfect for mingling and a tented reception setup, complete with a flooring system, barnwood bar & lighting. Our coordination offer comes with a wealth of experience, including a thorough planning website, day-of coordination and a no-stress clause!

The area: What is there to do in the local area?

We are conveniently located in Central Vermont. Within a short drive, guests can get to hikes for all abilities, incredible swimming holes, breweries, and picturesque Woodstock village for a stroll around town. They can even head to Rutland for the largest Farmer's Market in the state!

The history: Does the property have a rich history?

Once on the National Historic Registry, our property began as a working farm, with the original house built in 1800 (now the innkeepers' quarters!). The remainder of the main inn has been added onto throughout the years, with the most recent major renovations in 2011 and 2020.

Three rapid fire questions:

Favorite moment during a wedding: A few years ago, one of our lovely couples, being avid cyclists, recessed down the aisle on their bikes!
Favorite thing to do in VT: The Vermont mountain biking scene is off the charts!
Best advice for couples: Host the wedding that you want, not the wedding others think you should have!
