The Kimpton Taconic Hotel offers an inviting blend of classic Vermont charm and modern amenities, making it an ideal destination for weddings of all sizes. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony for 15 or a lively celebration for up to 200 guests, the Taconic provides a beautiful backdrop, especially The Green, their event lawn with sweeping mountain views, perfect for saying “I do.”
Wedding packages include a complimentary menu tasting, a special “getting ready” platter for the wedding morning, and a one-night complimentary stay for the couple (with a two-night minimum). Guests are welcomed into cocktail hour with passed champagne, followed by four passed hors d’oeuvres, one display station, and a plated or station-style dinner. Receptions can be hosted in the elegant Trillium Ballroom or outdoors on The Green, with late-night snacks available to keep the party going—Trillium Terrace makes an ideal spot for an after-party.

What is one of your favorite places to show people when looking at The Taconic?
The Terrace and The Green! The Terrace is my favorite venue because of its simplicity and versatility. And The Green, with the bistro lights above, is truly magical.
What do you love most about wedding planning?
I grew up in a social household that was often hosting events and always loved the energy (and anxiety) that came with it. Weddings are uniquely special to me because I love being the vehicle that drives an incredible experience that families and friends will cherish always.
What makes Vermont a special destination for weddings?
Vermont has so much to offer for couples who are considering hosting their wedding here! The fresh, clean air is unbeatable! Whether lush and green in the summertime or radiantly gold and orange in autumn, the mountains in Vermont encapsulate the beauty of New England that guests travel for miles to experience.
