Kristen and Fred wanted their wedding to last beyond a traditional reception; they dreamed of celebrating with a mini vacation with loved ones. So, they turned to Reading Farms Estate, an elegant private estate venue in Southern Vermont.
The couple rented the Estate for exclusive access for five days, giving them plenty of time to hang out with their guests. "We got to enjoy the beautiful grounds, fire pit, pool, hot tub, and the pond stocked with fish in our down time," says Kristen.
Not only did the Estate provide the perfect backdrop for their party, its vintage style inspired their unique reception theme. The couple named their tables after rooms from the classic board game "Clue" and even had a live murder mystery during dinner! This is such a great example of how couples celebrating a microwedding can do something extra special that they maybe wouldn't be able to pull off with a larger crowd.
What's not a mystery? How much fun this couple had. See their full wedding, captured by Paige Hiller Photography, below.
Congratulations, Kristen and Fred!
