“This is a great question! A full-service planner works with the couple from start to finish on every detail throughout the planning process. From choosing and securing your venue and vendors, creating and managing the wedding budget, creating the design and color palette, through seamless execution of the wedding weekend. This is ideal for a couple that does not have the extra time to focus on planning and prefers to just focus on the FUN aspects and enjoy their engagement. Partial Planning is more of a partnership between the planner and the clients. This form of planning is best suited for those couples who want to be more involved in the planning process but could still use recommendations on what will be best for them. Month of Planning is best for those couples who want to be fully hands-on. A Cozy-Chic Wedding Day at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont

Taking the time to plan your dream wedding can be overwhelming, and honestly pretty confusing too if you’ve never planned a large event before. Alice and Tommy wanted to be sure their big day was the perfect reflection of their relationship. With the guidance and expertise from Carly of Three Hearts Studio, they were able to do just that! With her assistance, Alice and Tommy were able to put together the most beautiful wedding celebration in Stowe, Vermont. The result was a beautiful celebration that honored family, community, and even included one very special guest, their beloved pup!

Say “Yes” to the Dress

Picking out the perfect dress was one of the first things for Alice to check off on her list of to-do’s before their wedding day. She ended up going with a stunning gown from Veilmonte Bridal Showroom. They feature off-the-rack and custom-made gowns that truly allow brides endless options when searching for their dress. Veilmonte’s detail oriented stylists are committed to helping brides find the hand-made dress of their dreams, and they did just that for Alice.

The Rainy, but Romantic Wedding Day

Alice and Tommy traveled from their home in Massachusetts to Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, where the bride’s parents live, to celebrate their love with family and friends. Leading up to their wedding day the couple and their bridal party gathered in Stowe to begin the celebrations and prepare for the wedding. One of these tasks included preparing the bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaids, as well as the florals that would decorate the ceremony and reception spaces.

Early Saturday morning it was time for Alice and Tommy to begin getting ready with their bridesmaids & groomsmen. Meanwhile, Carly from Three Hearts Studio was ensuring everything at the venue was getting set up according to plan. Some of the featured decor items included a stunning hand-made seating chart the bride’s father built from scratch, as well as all the gorgeous florals from SB Blooms that the bride’s mother took the time to put together.

As ceremony time was nearing, the couple had to make the last minute decision to move everyone indoors due to inclement weather. Because of this, they were able to share their vows in the warmth of the fireplace with Whiskey, their Golden Retriever. It was absolutely stunning, and the presence of their family and friends made the day feel so special. They even had the most amazing vocalist who sang the song Alice walked down the aisle to.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour before making their way to their seats for the reception. The space was decorated with elegant drapery, stunning florals and moody candlelight. Whiskey also made his appearance on the custom beverage napkins, seating chart and cake topper! The bride’s father welcomed everyone with a very touching speech and the couple shared a romantic first dance before inviting everyone to the dance floor to celebrate the evening. The night was full of community, laughter and love as everyone celebrated the beautiful union of Alice and Tommy. Congratulations to the stunning couple!

Love Takes Center Stage: A Theater-Inspired Wedding Full of Personal Details

Today, we’re thrilled to share a wedding that is as personal as it is memorable, set at one of Vermont’s most storied estates: the beautiful Park-McCullough House. This National Register–listed mansion, built in 1865, has been the backdrop for more than 150 years of celebrations. For Liz and Kevin, their wedding day was filled with thoughtful details that reflected exactly who they are. From theatrical design touches woven into the décor to heartfelt words shared by Liz’s students, every moment of the celebration felt deeply intentional, joyful, and unmistakably them. We can’t wait to share all of the wonderful details with you below.

Cozying up for a Rainstorm Ceremony

The morning of Liz and Kevin’s wedding day began beautifully, sprinkled with moments of lighthearted fun and intention. As guests began to trickle in for the ceremony, so did the rain, but that didn’t stop this sweet couple from following their joy and adapting to the moment. With quick planning from Three Hearts Studio and excited guests, the garden ceremony was successfully moved to the Park-McCullough House‘s fully covered wraparound porch. What followed was a beautiful, emotional ceremony in the midst of a humid July rainstorm.

Entranced by the moment, Liz and Kevin’s heartfelt vows had their dearest loved ones choked up and teary-eyed. Guests cozied up shoulder to shoulder as Kevin shared beautiful stories about loving every part of Liz from her animal-loving heart to the amazing person and teacher she is. He was in tears by the end, and Liz returned her vows with a heartfelt moment of her own, even singing a portion of “Till There Was You” by The Beatles. The couple ended their vows by reminiscing on how the universe had slowly tugged on their heartstrings, pulling them across the country until they were finally in the same place at the same time. The rain made the couple’s day all the more special, keeping loved ones close and in the moment.

Deep Love, Espresso, and Theatrical Touches

After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party stepped away to take portraits together- both elegant and wonderfully silly- with their photographer, Novella Forever. From Liz’s sweet floral veil and vibrant bouquet to the wedding party’s touches of patterns and blues, the group lit up the day.

Moving into the reception, tables were lined with green and ivory candles, notes from Liz’s students, and smiling faces. Liz and Kevin first met while performing together in a community play, and to honor that, each table was named after a production they had been in together, from The Addams Family to Sister Act. Every detail felt so personal. The sweetest touch was the newly-married couple’s table- Beauty and the Beast.

Liz, or “Ms. Cory” as she is lovingly known by her students, is a truly special teacher. Each table featured artwork created by her students answering the question, “What is love?” Seeing their sweet and thoughtful interpretations on display was such a meaningful touch and spoke volumes about what matters most to Liz.

The couple has so much heart, and their wedding reflected that through and through. As the evening continued, this coffee-loving couple brought in Chris’ Coffee, serving up delicious hot and iced coffee drinks with an impressive espresso setup. The touch of caffeine kept the energy up throughout the reception and throughout Liz’s performance of “Pink Pony Club” with their incredible band, Cryin’ Out Loud. Liz was a total bride rockstar, and the way she locked eyes with Kevin while she was singing made the moment even more special. Everyone rushed to the dance floor, and Liz and Kevin spent the rest of their evening dancing the night away in their matching light-up sneakers.

Meet Vermont Wedding Planner, Three Hearts Studio

When your heart leads the way, meaningful things take shape. For Vermont wedding planner Carly, that inspiration began at home. Named after her three sons (her “three hearts”!) Three Hearts Studio is a Vermont wedding planning company rooted in love and intention. From guiding the planning process to ensuring every moment flows seamlessly, Three Hearts Studio brings both creativity and calm to the wedding experience. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to Carly and share how Three Hearts Studio is helping couples plan heartfelt Vermont weddings that truly reflect who they are.

How did you get into the wedding industry?

When I moved back to Vermont three years ago and started Three Hearts Studio, I was offering interior design and photography exclusively. Around that time, I had the opportunity to assist a well-known Vermont wedding planner whom I absolutely loved working with, and I learned so much from her.

I quickly fell in love with wedding planning, especially the opportunity to connect with the couple and their families. The planning process felt like a natural complement to my project management background. I was used to managing design projects, but working with couples to bring such a meaningful day to life is far more fun and rewarding!

How would you describe your style?

My approach to wedding planning is relationship-driven, rooted in strong communication, and high organization. I’m a true people person and absolutely love getting to know my couples and their families. The result? A planning process that feels collaborative, personal, and genuinely enjoyable. By the time the wedding weekend arrives, it often feels like I’m celebrating and cheering on dear friends I truly care about.

With my background in interior design and project management, I approach weddings through both a creative and logistical lens. I love helping couples shape the vision for their day while thoughtfully building a strong and reliable vendor team to bring everything together with ease and intention.

Most importantly, I want my couples to feel completely supported when the wedding day arrives. After months of planning and so much care poured into every detail, you deserve to fully experience each moment, especially knowing how quickly the day passes. My role is to quietly manage everything behind the scenes so couples and their families can relax, be present, and truly soak in the celebration they worked so hard to create.

What inspires your work?

The love shared between the couple, their people who care for them deeply, and the overall feeling they hope to create.

Any special tips for couples for choosing/working with a wedding planner?

During your consultation call, pay attention to how the conversation feels. Did you connect with the planner? Did they understand your vision and approach your budget with honesty and realism? Most importantly, did it feel like a natural fit? Or as the kids might say, did you vibe? The best outcome, in my opinion, is when that professional relationship turns into a genuine connection, and you find yourselves keeping in touch long after the wedding day has passed.

Your planner will be with you throughout the entire planning process, so it’s important that communication feels easy and that you truly enjoy working together. After all, wedding planning should be fun, too. The right planner becomes a trusted guide, helping you make thoughtful decisions, bringing together a strong and reliable vendor team, and keeping everything organized along the way.

Just as importantly, a planner is there to take the pressure off the couple and their families. As the wedding day approaches and we get into what I like to call the “nitty gritty,” I always tell my clients to put any lingering concerns or must-do items on me. It is important to me that my clients feel 100% supported.

Did you remember to pack the cake-cutting set? Who is bustling your dress during cocktail hour? Is everyone gathered for family photos? These are the kinds of details your planner is quietly managing behind the scenes on your wedding day. If you weren’t a wedding professional, what would you do?

My degree is in interior design and architecture, and my business offers full residential design services. Before starting Three Hearts Studio, I worked as a senior project manager at a design firm in Los Angeles, and before that, held a similar role in Montreal. In LA, I also worked as a private school teacher, and I absolutely adore working with children, and in a school setting.

What’s a fun fact about yourself?

The ocean is my happy place & I’m a crazy dog lover.

A Summer Vineyard Wedding Overflowing with Joy in Vermont

Gaby and Ian wanted three things when it came to their wedding: mountain views, a waterfront location, and the shining summer sun. The happy couple experienced all of this magic and more at the stunning Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery in South Hero, Vermont, this past summer. From creemees at the welcome party to Ben & Jerry’s at the reception, their weekend was filled with charm, joy, and plenty of Vermont flavor. Let’s take a closer look at their incredible day below!

From Summer Camp to “I Do” in Vermont

Gaby and Ian met working at summer camp in New Hampshire in 2019, and the rest, as they say, was history. Ian grew up in Saint Johnsbury, and the pair would visit Burlington on their days off from camp. Gaby quickly fell in love with Vermont through their travels, and it only felt natural to host their special day in the very same state! Returning “home” to New England for their summer wedding felt just right.

The couple’s wedding festivities began the night before with their welcome party, where guests discovered their newest obsession… creemees! Palmer Lane Maple’s truck served them up while Vermont Picnic Paradise wowed everyone with charcuterie cups and a stunning display. The Mexican Fiesta theme, hosted at a private residence in Williston, was bursting with vibrant décor. Many guests stayed at the beautiful Essex Resort & Spa, soaking in that quintessential New England charm, and took time before and after the wedding to explore other areas of Vermont and the New England coast. (A few guests even ventured out to Montreal and Quebec City!)

A Perfect Vineyard Wedding in South Hero

The next day, the celebration continued in South Hero, where Snow Farm Vineyard proved to be the perfect setting and checked all the boxes for the couple’s dream wedding. The day couldn’t have been more perfect: sunny skies, a gentle lake breeze, and not a drop of rain in sight. In true wedding-day fashion, Gaby’s morning began with a little bit of chaos; a forgotten makeup brush bag meant a quick rescue trip to Sephora at Kohl’s. Meanwhile, her father, Arturo, spent the early hours fishing off the dock at Snow Farm Vineyard instead of building the ceremony arch. It captured what so many couples can relate to: wedding day moments that are a little unpredictable, a little lighthearted, but always unforgettable and wrapped in love.

Gaby and Ian worked with Vermont wedding planner Carly of Three Hearts Studio to ensure their day unfolded seamlessly. Carly offered steady support every step of the way. Since the couple lived out of state and were traveling across the country, they were especially grateful for her willingness to store luggage and receive packages in the weeks leading up to the celebration.

Golden Hour, Sweet Treats, and a Dance Floor to Remember

Prosecco flowed all day, laughter echoed across the vineyard, and love filled the air as the couple shared their first kiss as a married couple. The bridal party stood proudly behind, looking absolutely radiant in shades of pinks and floral prints, with the groomsmen sharp in navy suits. (Guests embraced the couple’s “New England Chic” dress code perfectly!)

The reception was nothing short of unforgettable. From outside the tent, DJ Mike 802 had the party sounding like a full-blown concert, friends sang every lyric at the top of their lungs, and the dance floor never slowed down. One of Gaby and Ian’s highlights from their day was sneaking away for sunset photos just as “Pink Pony Club” came on. The cheers and voices pouring out of the tent were so loud it felt as if Chappell Roan herself was performing live. That golden-hour escape gave the couple some of their favorite photos from the day.

A pearl-adorned cake from Em’s Cakery, filled with lemon and fruit and crafted gluten- and dairy-free, impressed everyone. In true Vermont fashion, Ben & Jerry’s rolled in to serve ice cream later in the evening, ending the day on a sweet note.

The Sweetest Keepsake: Turning a Wedding Bouquet into Perfume

Although Gaby and Ian celebrated their big day earlier this summer, Gaby’s thrilled to keep reminiscing, not just through photos and videos, but in a truly unique way. Gaby has been working with Sarah of Vermont’s Bloom Lab to preserve her bouquet as a custom botanical perfume.

The process began six months before Gaby’s wedding, when her love of sweet, floral, and fruity scents inspired the creation of this bespoke fragrance. The fragrance begins with a burst of bright citrus, fresh and playful, before soft notes of marshmallow and spun sugar add a cozy, candy-like sweetness. At the heart, peonies from Gaby’s bridal bouquet shine through, bringing a romantic touch. A hint of osmanthus rounds it out with a warm apricot richness. Just a few months after her celebration, the finished eau de parfum arrived at her doorstep, a timeless keepsake of the day!
