BEST OF 2020: ELOPEMENTS & MICROWEDDINGS

Given gathering restrictions this year, small microweddings and elopements were popular choices for couples in 2020. Every wedding is wonderful in its own way, so narrowing down the “best” in this category is truly impossible. That said, here are a few special moments that stood out from these beautiful, intimate wedding celebrations.

ROMANTIC FALL WEDDING AT THE INN AT ROUND BARN FARM

“It was our dream to get married during peak foliage season in Vermont,” says bride Isabel. Frequent vacationers here, Isabel and husband, Josh, wanted their celebration to feel like the “cozy, fun fall weekends we love so much.”

They picked the Inn at the Round Barn Farm for its “quintessential Vermont vibes” and its locally-sourced catering, allowing guests a true taste of Vermont.

One of their favorite memories from the weekend was a private moment on the wedding morning. Waking up to a fresh frost, “we bundled up with our coffee and walked around the property just the two of us. It was so peaceful,” says Isabel. “By our ceremony that afternoon, it was sunny and warm enough to get married outside. It was perfect in every way!”
