This Couple Had Their Dream Wedding At The Exact Spot They First Met Each Other

Love can be found in the most unexpected places, and for this couple, that place happened to be the Inn at Mountain View Farm! This charming and picturesque location was the perfect backdrop for a budding love story and we are so excited to share it with you all today.

Rustic Romance: A Vermont Barn Wedding to Remember

Laura and Mike’s journey from chance encounter to forever began five years ago when they both attended a wedding held at the Inn at Mountain View Farm as guests. Mike instantly was was intrigued by Laura and despite Laura playing hard to get for years, their love eventually blossomed during the COVID-19 pandemic. After Mike proposed, choosing a wedding venue was a no brainer! The couple returned to the very place it all began to tie the knot and start their forever together.

Mike and Laura exchanged vows on a overcast June day, where brief moments of rain and mist couldn’t dampen their guests’ spirits. The ceremony was held indoors at the site’s historic barn, beneath a canopy of verdant foliage and gentle accents of pink and white flowers.

When it was time for the reception, guests were greeted with twinkling lights overhead, and elegant table arrangements brimming with lush greenery. The party was filled with happy tears during toasts at dinnertime and packed with high energy when it came time to dance!

To ensure the night was lively and the dance floor remained vibrant, the unique inclusion of energy shots and flip flops were hits amongst guests. This thoughtful detail ensured a packed dance floor and left guests free to let loose, focusing on the joy of the moment rather than aching feet.

Even as the night wore on and the cake was cut, the merriment continued, proof of a truly successful and memorable wedding! See all the special details from Mike and Laura’s wedding day below.

With their love of the outdoors in mind, the couple  knew they wanted to put together an amazing reception that celebrated their union in the very place that inspired it.

When Liz and Rob set out to plan their perfect Vermont fall wedding, they wanted to make sure that it was focused on spending time with their family and friends. With that in mind, the two organized a mountain bike ride (one of the couple’s favorite activities to do together) for the Friday afternoon before the wedding.
