THESE UVM ALUMNI RETURNED TO VERMONT TO TIE THE KNOT AT SUGARBUSH RESORT

Kristen and Taylor met their first weekend at the University of Vermont. Together, they’ve lived in Boston and New York before settling into Santa Monica. But, when they decided to get married, they returned to the first place where they both felt at home as a couple: Vermont. Sugarbush Resort provided the perfect homebase for their destination wedding weekend for the couple’s large families.

Their Best Advice – Skip the First Look

Kirsten says there were many moments that made the wedding special, but the highlight was the ceremony. “Taylor and I decided not to do a first look because we wanted the big ‘reveal’ when I walked down the aisle,” says Kristen. “I am so glad we saved that amazing moment, because it was so special. We wrote our own vows, and guests walked away knowing more about our relationship and why we love each other so much!”
