How did you get into Vermont wedding videography?
I was asked by a friend of mine who saw my work with sports video to film him and his partner’s elopement. I quickly realized that this combined my love for getting the shot and interacting and connecting with people. From then on, I knew weddings were where I wanted to be!
From the filming to the editing, every aspect of the process felt more meaningful and fun. I knew I had the responsibility of creating something that, if done well, would be shown to all sorts of friends, family, future children, grandparents etc.
To give someone a representation of their love and their family and guests’ love is the ultimate gift for me and something I will always cherish.
How would you describe your style?
My style is fast, fun, and audio-driven. I love incorporating all sorts of audio from the day, including guest interviews, vows, toasts, and of course, laughter.
I also am a lover of home videos. From your parents’ 90s early 2000’s camcorders to your grandparents’ beautifully grainy Super 8 films. I believe in the beauty of these vintage formats and try to incorporate them into everything I do.
What inspires your work?
Couples are my inspiration! Their unique story, style and way of expressing love inspires all my decisions when it comes to decisions when filming and editing.
Any special tips for couples for choosing a wedding videographer?
One of the most important things I recommend is meeting or having a conversation with the actual person who will be filming your wedding day. Their personality, communication style, and creative approach can have a huge impact on your experience and on the final film you receive.

If you weren't a wedding professional what would you do?
I’d either be a yoga instructor for inflexible people (like myself) or a monk in search of enlightenment. I’m not entirely sure what that says about me, but both sound pretty appealing!
What's a fun fact about yourself?
I play the cello, and one of the few songs I can confidently perform is Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter. It’s not a flawless performance, but it’s recognizable, and that’s what counts! 😊
