An Intimate Fall Wedding at Snow Farm Vineyard in South Hero

Victoria and Connor’s morning began with a buzz of excitement at the charming bed and breakfast on Snow Farm Vineyard’s property, where close family and friends gathered to get ready. Laughter echoed through the rooms as friends snapped Polaroids and captured sweet, behind-the-scenes memories. Amanda Sue Studios worked her magic with hair and makeup, creating natural looks that highlighted each person’s beauty. Each bridesmaid wore a velvet burgundy dress in the silhouette of their choice, perfect for fall and beautifully coordinated with the bouquets Victoria created!

Before the ceremony, Victoria and Connor shared a heartfelt first look, complete with private vows. The photos from this part of the day are so moving; it’s hard not to get misty-eyed seeing the raw joy and love between the pair!

The ceremony took place near the peaceful shores of Lake Champlain, with sweeping water views and the soft rustle of fall leaves setting the scene. Guests were seated on wooden benches, and cozy blankets were thoughtfully provided for anyone feeling the chill of the crisp autumn air. After saying “I do,” Victoria and Connor signed their marriage license and shared a sweet mini celebration with their closest family and friends. In true Vermont fashion, they then climbed aboard a tractor (yes, really!) for a joyful, scenic ride down the road to cocktail hour, smiling the whole way.

Comfort Food and Custom Cocktails to Kick Off the Night

Cocktail hour was a delicious affair, with guests mingling among the grape vines and soaking in the golden autumn light. The Roving Feast served up a mouthwatering spread, and one standout that had everyone talking was the poutine, a fun and cozy nod to Quebec’s most popular comfort food. To sip, guests chose from three signature cocktails: a refreshing strawberry basil margarita, a floral lavender bee’s knees, or a warm and classic maple old-fashioned. Being at a vineyard, of course, there was also local wine aplenty!

Just steps away, the reception tent welcomed guests with a warm and inviting glow. Twinkling string lights cast a romantic ambiance, while colorful bud vases filled with hand-arranged florals by Victoria herself added a personal and vibrant touch to each table. At the heart of the tent, a parquet dance floor promised a night of celebration and unforgettable dance moves. 

When guests needed to take a break from dancing, they made their way to a cozy fire pit, where Adirondack chairs and good conversation awaited. With Vermont’s crisp fall air settling in, it was the perfect spot to warm up and soak in the magic of the evening under the stars.
