Selecting a wedding aesthetic can be challenging, as it’s often a toss-up between a classic, timeless look or a more daring and vivid approach. Luckily for us, we don’t have to choose a favorite when it comes to this wedding at Kimpton Taconic Hotel! Details from this beautiful day were captured by Rowan Oak Studios and are sure to be treasured memories of this special day for years to come.
A Timeless Wedding Bursting with Color and Fun
The Kimpton Taconic Hotel is located in the heart of Manchester, Vermont. This remarkable space boasts 86 guest rooms and inviting indoor and outdoor areas that are perfect for weddings and socializing with your family and friends throughout your wedding weekend.
When it came to Bridgett and Dave’s wedding day, a 100% chance of rain couldn’t overcome their love or planned outdoor ceremony!
We also have to note the wedding party’s unique style. From electric blue to magenta, the bridesmaids’ dresses added a fun and modern twist to the classic wedding. The groomsmen sported classic tuxedos, which were strikingly juxtaposed with their casual sneakers. Meanwhile, Bridgett’s elegant cathedral veil surprised everyone with unexpected bursts of color.
Once the formalities were over, it was time to head inside for an epic reception. Guests were welcomed with vibrant bud vases on each table and even the littlest wedding guests had things to keep them occupied, like coloring pages and Playdoh. During cocktail hour, guests could leave date night and wedding advice for Bridgett and Dave. The couple also had a vintage rotary phone set up where guests could leave a message for the newlyweds to listen to after their special day.
Over on the dance floor Bridgett and Dave’s family and friends knew how to have a good time! The energy was electric as everyone showcased their best moves, played with bubble guns and even did unexpected chair hoists. During one chair hoist, Bridgett fell out of her chair but miraculously landed on her feet and kept on dancing, not missing a beat!
This celebration is surely one guests will remember for years to come. Congratulations Bridgett and Dave!
