Venue owners Hallie and Erik are not only excited to host couples’ weddings, but Hallie is also the owner of Hallie Jade Pictures and has extensive experience as a wedding photographer. Her calming presence is like a breath of fresh air on a day that can sometimes feel full of pressure and slightly overwhelming. She has a rawness to her images, making them timeless, and she captures the day exactly as it happened, no matter the hiccups that may occur along the way.
A Fairytale Come True
On a warm summer morning Natalie began getting ready for her romantic Vermont wedding. Starting with hair and makeup by True Vermont Beauty before stepping into her breathtaking strapless wedding gown. Mike was getting ready nearby, putting the finishing touches on a rich chocolate brown suit that offered a fresh, timeless alternative to the traditional black or navy. It was very important to Mike and Natalie that family was a big part of their wedding day, so they were sure to make that a priority. The couple was also very intentional about making sure everyone, including their sweet nieces and nephews, felt special throughout the day. Helping bring every detail together, Leigh & Co. Events expertly coordinated the day, allowing Natalie and Mike to fully relax and soak in every moment of their celebration.
As the early evening started to roll in, guests began arriving at Wild Sugar Homestead and making their way to their seats at the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site. Mike then made his way down the aisle, anxiously awaiting the arrival of his Bride. Accompanied by her Father, Natalie walked down the aisle gracefully and joined her Groom where they shared vows, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss as they were pronounced Husband and Wife for the first time!
Before the reception began, Mike and Natalie’s friends and family spent cocktail hour playing yard games, socializing and laughing amongst each other. Their reception was hosted under a beautiful white tent in the field at Wild Sugar Homestead. Bright floral arrangements by Blossoming Bough Florals paired beautifully with crisp linens, butter yellow napkins, and maple syrup party favors, creating guest tables that felt elegant while allowing the surrounding scenery to take center stage. After dinner by Maple Street Catering, Natalie and Mike slipped away for a few quiet moments with Hallie Jade Pictures, capturing the kind of romantic, storybook portraits they’ll treasure for a lifetime. As the sun began to set over the Vermont countryside, they returned to celebrate the rest of the evening surrounded by the people they love most. Congratulations Natalie and Mike!
