Newlywed Glow in the Green Mountains
Jenna and Jacob traveled from Pennsylvania to Vermont, their first visit ever! Fresh off their wedding, the newlyweds chose to spend their honeymoon in Burlington and planned a photoshoot to celebrate their marriage in a meaningful, intimate way. Instead of a large wedding day, this portrait session became their chance to soak in the joy of it all.
Before we get into the adventure, their love story deserves a moment of its own. Jenna and Jacob fell in love immediately after meeting just a year ago. As they put it, “when you know, you know.” Their photographers, Kolleen and Bobby, knew that feeling all too well, remembering how quickly they themselves had fallen in love over 15 years ago.
The vibe of the day was casual, authentic, and overflowing with excitement. These two were absolutely glowing in that unmistakable just-married magic. When the husband-and-wife photography duo, Photos by Kintz, picked them up at their hotel, nerves were running high… Jenna was even shaking! But after a short car ride filled with easy conversation (and a little help from Noah Kahan on the playlist), the tension melted away. Before long, Jenna and Jacob were laughing, relaxed, and fully themselves.
To showcase the very best of “our Great Little State,” Kolleen and Bobby brought the newlyweds to a local gem: Rock Point, just minutes from downtown Burlington. With sweeping views of Lake Champlain and brilliant fall foliage wrapping the shoreline, it was the perfect blend of everything Vermont is known and loved for. Against this stunning backdrop, Jenna & Jacob’s connection truly shone. Sweet, joyful, and beautifully unposed!
This honeymoon shoot is a wonderful reminder that celebration doesn’t have just one format. Whether it’s a mountaintop elopement, a bustling ballroom wedding, or a quiet moment on the shores of Lake Champlain, what matters most is honoring your love story, your way.
